Cash on delivery (COD) is an additional service where Evropat collects from the recipient an amount preset by the sender and pays it to the sender within the stipulated time frames. It reassures the sender that the goods will be paid on time, and the recipient that they pay only for the goods they actually receive.
Cash transfer from sender to recipient. Available nationwide.
Payout term: the next business day after the postal money order is accepted from the sender. Payout timing follows the visit schedule for the destination locality.
How it works: PMOs are accepted in cash at an Evropat office from the sender and paid out in cash to recipients without a contract at an Evropat office chosen by the sender or at the recipient’s address.
Service fees
Fees are paid by the sender of the postal money order.
Declared value for shipments is the operator's contractual liability in the event of loss, theft, or damage to the shipment, up to the amount declared by the sender for the value of the contents in EUR.
The declared amount must correspond to the actual value of the shipment contents and be substantiated with documents provided by the sender.
The fee is 0.55% including VAT of the shipment's declared value plus the amounts of the fuel surcharge and toll surcharge published on the website at that time.
Inspection is an optional service that lets the recipient open the shipping packaging (but not the retail packaging) in the courier’s presence and check the shipment contents before acceptance.
Test is an optional service that lets the recipient open the shipment in the courier’s presence and try/test the goods before accepting it. With the “Test” option active, goods may be tried for up to 10 minutes with the courier present.
For shipments with the additional “cash on delivery” service, Inspection and/or Test are provided at no extra fee.
For shipments without cash on delivery, Inspection and Test are subject to an additional fee of €0.64 incl. VAT per shipment.
The “return receipt” add-on applies when you need proof of delivery with the recipient’s handwritten signature. You can receive the receipt electronically to your email right after delivery, or on paper as a shipment delivered the next business day. The service must be requested in advance by the sender and costs €1.84 incl. VAT plus the fuel surcharge and toll surcharge amounts published on the website at that time.
The “return documents” add-on is used when the recipient must complete and sign documents attached to the shipment. The service must be requested in advance by the sender and costs €2.45 incl. VAT plus the fuel surcharge and toll surcharge amounts published on the website at that time.
Delivery on Saturday or the first non-working/public holiday announced by the company as a half working day. The service must be requested in advance by the sender and incurs an additional charge of €2.45 incl. VAT plus the fuel surcharge and toll surcharge amounts published on the website at that time. A current mobile number for the recipient is mandatory. Only available for localities with an Evropat-2000 AD office. Deliveries to offices and parcel lockers on Saturday or a public holiday are not subject to this surcharge.
Applies when a parcel shipment includes a heavy package over 50 kg. The fee is charged to the courier service and amounts to €12.27 incl. VAT plus the fuel surcharge and toll surcharge amounts published on the website at that time for each parcel in the shipment whose declared or control-measured chargeable weight is over 50 kg.
For shipments delivered from or to the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria. The rate is determined and updated following changes to the scope and rates of tolls for road infrastructure under the ordinance on mixed time- and distance-based tolling by vehicle category. The current rate is published on the company website.
An additional surcharge applied to the main price including VAT. The fuel surcharge amount is updated when the retail price per litre of diesel changes. Reference information: diesel prices on bg.fuelo.net. Changes are published on the company website in a timely manner.
The shipment is delivered at a customer-pre-agreed time. The service applies only where Evropat-2000 AD has an office. The fee is charged to the courier charge for the shipment and is €1.84 incl. VAT plus the fuel surcharge and toll surcharge amounts published on the website at that time.
Cooler bags are rented for transporting shipments needing special storage. The service runs on advance request only. The fee is charged to the main courier charge for the shipment and is €2.45 incl. VAT plus the fuel surcharge and toll surcharge amounts published on the website at that time.
Delivery takes place on a customer-preferred day other than the published visit schedule for the locality. For parcel shipments the fee charged to the courier service is €12.24 incl. VAT plus the fuel surcharge and toll surcharge amounts published on the website at that time.
